Looking forward to this as it was one of my many questions/requests

I suppose at least for me it is beneficial when you have multiple items in the same packaging. For example with the Kennedy 2-coin set or the ATB 3 coin set are a single package where the individual coins are not removable.

A few problems come to mind for me if I were to list them as separate line items in my inventory. When looking at the collection as a whole I feel the total items would be misrepresented. Also if I were to lump it in with the rest of the collection and list it as qty 2 for example that would be misleading. Now I typically do not sell my coins but say I could not sell one without selling the other what may have looked like a duplicate to me is in fact part of a set that should not be broken. I would also have to look at 2 or 3 different line items in my inventory to make sense of the set unless there was a way to link items?

The coin and die set is a unique item to my collection and that particular item I would have no way of listing other than creating a new identifier as you said in the pricing tab. I've been trying to avoid changing any of the price tabs as I find myself constantly updating new lists when available.

Pictures of the medal can be found here I apologize ahead of time as I am by no means an expert photographer.

Things looked good for a couple days after the update but I see it unfortunately didn't make much of a difference.

Technical support / Re: Update issue with latest update version?

I actually have a rule already for the web update since I ran into this issue on my original install.

I was able to get the updates finally last night but not in the way it was designed. I still haven't determined root cause nor what exactly "fixed" the problem since logically I don't see a reason why anything I did would have fixed it.

After trying for what had to be the 100th time I was beyond baffled and frustrated. This time I clicked check for price updates. The update check screen came up and hung there again continuing to "check" but not frozen (could still close with the X) as I stated before. This time I minimized the program and clicked away from it then opened again and like usual the screen had disappeared but this time I opened an update a second time while the other update was presumably still running somewhere in the background but not visible. Then I clicked behind that new update screen on the main interface and then minimized it again and then I finally saw the "download" and "unzipping" screen in the background. Again beyond clicking away like a mad man because I had run out of possible scenarios in my head there was no logical explanation as to why my random clicking in frustration solved the problem. For my own sanity I just tried an update now before posting this and it seems to be back to normal now?!?

Technical support / Update issue with latest update version?
« on: July 18, 2017, 10:08:22 PM »
Not sure if this is just happening to me but since I updated to the latest version of the software when I check for new updates of anything prices, images, software it just hangs there forever. It is not a frozen screen and you can still close the update pop up via the X but it never downloads anything nor advises there are no updates.

Is there anyway to rollback to the previous version I was using? I'd hate to reinstall with all the images again from the DVD version and then upgrade that to the version I had before.

Ah sorry maybe that's why I wasn't getting any responses. I meant I wanted to add these items in my collection inventory but did not find them in any of the lists I thought that they would be in.

As for the silver medal I do have that in hand got it from the mint recently wanted the gold coin but it was a little out of my range. If you have any suggestions or articles I can read on how to properly photograph I would not mind sending you a few pictures.

U.S. coin collecting / Historical Issue Prices?
« on: July 09, 2017, 06:56:11 PM »
Is there anywhere to find historical issue prices for mint issued items? For example if I wanted the original issue price of a 2006 uncirculated silver eagle? The red book seems to only have issue prices for proof sets.

Not sure that option would work for what I was trying to do. Let me try to clarify my previous question. I have the program installed from a downloaded copy (newer version) but received the DVD package and I wanted to add all the images from the DVD copy rather than download everything through the program. Would there be a way to do this or would my only option be to reinstall through the DVD?

If I did have to reinstall from DVD would I have any compatibility issues with my newer database being used on an older version?

Is there a way to use the DVD install to import all of the coin pictures I have not downloaded?

Also are there any plans to include Proof set images?

Thanks I did notice the update hopefully the changes will help! I can only imagine how much of a nuisance it is. Thank you for taking the time to clean it all up rather quickly daily.

This is a good suggestion that I would like to see added at some point. Maybe something before downloading and extracting the price lists it can let you know what your last version was and what is now available?
