Title: Proof Coins
Post by: Peanut47 on November 20, 2013, 07:18:17 PM
New user for exactchange. When I enter my set of wheat cents there isn't a value for the proof cents. Also same thing with my Roosevelt dimes. Do I need to do anything other than set Grade and Have?

There is pricing for proof coins of both those series; if you click on the “Pricing” tab, you can see what’s there.  Once you select the Year/Mint/Variety and grade, that’s all the information that’s needed for Exact Change to look the price up in the price list.  In the case of Wheat Cents, there are three grade modifiers for Red, Red-Brown and Brown.  It will default to Brown when you click the “New” button so you may, depending on the coin you’re entering, want to change that because it can greatly affect the value.  If you don’t see a value quoted in the table at the top of the “Coins” page, please give me an example or two of the Year/Mint/Variety and Grade you selected that didn’t provide a value.
